 Does Aromatherapy really work?

I get extremely tense when I go to the dentist. My teeth are very sensitive and the minute I sit in the dentist chair I feel my body start to tense up. I focus on relaxing my body by going into a meditative state, so I can surrender to the work that is being done. I decided that I would try something different: I took some scented meditation oil I use when I meditate and put a dab of the oil under my nostrils. I found the scent made it easier for me to relax my mind and my body.

Next time you find yourself in a stressful situation, try putting a dab of calming a Essential Oil or Meditation Oil under your nostrils.  You’ll not only permeate your senses with sweet fragrances, but  will also help to calm and relax your physical and mental state.
