The Journey

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010

Don’t base your success on what you make but rather on where you’re at in

the moment, today. It’s all about the process not the end result!

There is a saying the locals tell tourists who visit the island of Maui,

“When you travel the beautiful road to Hana, it’s all about the journey, not

the destination!

Buddhism also focuses on being in the present. Learn to meditate. Be still

and live in the moment.  Be blissful. Live life fully. Celebrate every day.

It is a precious gift.

Namaste for today

The Struggle

Wednesday, May 19th, 2010

I find myself struggling with God to remove the difficulties and imperfections that plague my life and me. It’s at times like this that I remind myself to pray to be able to more lovingly transition through my issues and lessons. This way, instead of fighting the universe, I learn what I need from the issues at hand and from the limitations, or so called “flaws” in my personality, which hold me back from success and accomplishments, .

Shift

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

When you’re feeling defeated and worthless and like you haven’t made any progress in life, take a moment to reflect on what you have accomplished in the week, the day, the hour, or even the moment. This will help to uplift you. Dwelling on the negative will only defeat you, whereas focusing on the positive can shift your energy into a good direction.

The Healing Power of a Smile

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

Nothing warms my heart more than a  beautiful smile.

Today, my energy was low and I wasn’t feeling to thrilled about life.  I decided to go for a walk in the park and while I was walking, I focused on people and experiences that made me feel good. I also focused on the beautiful weather and the nice breeze. My energy slowly began to shift and I naturally started smiling. I then made it a point to say “Hello” to everyone I passed and, when I did this, I noticed that each person acknowledged me with a smile… and now I’m sending SMILES to all of YOU!

When you are sensitive to those around you and your environment and you’re coming from a loving position  your heart opens, which allows your creative juices to flow.
